The Redding Endoscopy Center is a free standing outpatient ambulatory surgery center offering patients an easy & convenient way to receive endoscopy healthcare. We are driven that each patient who entrusts their care to us, never feels like a number, but surrounded with an atmosphere of quality, personal and intentional care.
With the Center’s dedicated staff who partnered with our patients since 1996 in providing quality care by taking it’s mission statement to heart: To create a safe physical environment properly constructed, equipped and maintained to ensure patient health and safety in preparation for the scheduled procedure, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure. To provide an atmosphere of compassion and understanding with minimal stress and anxiety.To function at a high level of efficiency to accommodate the convenience of both patient, the physician, and the staff. To assist the physicians in accomplishment of a plan of diagnostic evaluation and medical management for each patient. To promote knowledge and skills of the Center’s staff as a means of meeting technical and scientific progress in the delivery of health care and to be aware of new research, new products, and new ideas which may modify and improve present activities and procedures. To maintain that all information regarding patients is kept private and confidential.

We have multiple GI Endoscopy Procedure Rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment, in addition to recovery bays for added privacy and convenient parking. With the Center’s goal of controlling procedure costs as a vision of the future; we are confident that patients will find Redding Endoscopy Center to be a very pleasant, safe and convenient alternative to hospital-based endoscopy.
Key Staff
Cheryl Arnold, BSN, RN, Center Director
Cheryl is the new Center Director at Redding Endoscopy Center. She is an experienced Registered Nurse who has been in the medical field more than 30 years: with more than 10 years of Endoscopy/procedure experience, including management roles. Cheryl has a love of teaching and is working on her Master of Nursing degree in Nursing Education so she may be able to better serve not only her staff, but her patients as well.
Cheryl received her Nursing degree from the Mary Grimes School of Nursing in Ottawa, KS, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Chamberlain School of Nursing and has one year left to have her Master of Nursing Degree.
Cheryl is dedicated to assuring a positive and safe patient experience for all patients who come to our Center.
Jamie Whitmoor-Pryer, RN, Charge Nurse
Jamie Whitmoor-Pryer is the Charge Nurse at Redding Endoscopy Center. She recently joined the team in October of 2015. Prior to working at REC, Jamie lived and worked as a RN in Kalamazoo, MI, where she worked in the Cardiac ICU.
Jamie loves nursing and is passionate about doing all things in excellence, ensuring that each person is treated with kindness and compassion. She enjoys working with all of the staff at REC and feels honored to be the Charge Nurse.
Becky Diaz, LVN, Team Leader
Deanna Westlake, RN, Charge Relief
Deanna Westlake is a Registered Nurse at Redding Endoscopy Center. She has been with REC since 2011 where she has served as Charge Nurse, Charge Relief Nurse & Staff Nurse.
Deanna holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University, San Jose, CA and has been a nurse for 30 years. She is committed to seeing high quality patient care as well as being an advocate for the patient and their families.
